Our Memory Jar Celebration

On August Bank Holiday, over 250 people came down the Arbo to see us and celebrate The Walsall Memory Jar, with a day of free family fun. Crafts from Sophie Rey, tales and tunes from Spoon in a Jar Publications and a homecoming set from Walsalls own Joe Summers.

We would like to send a huge thank you to everybody who joined us in the sunshine and to all of our supporters - Crowdfund Walsall, Spacehive, Walsall Council, Heritage Fund UK. Plus our friends at Creative Black Country and you! Your generous donations made this project possible.

I haven't moved too far away from Walsall and was only pushing my 96 year old father there in a wheelchair a few weeks ago, and he remembered catching stickleback there in the stream and the wonderful illuminations..png
